QRM Receive Comparison with IC7300 and TS430S
Worked the dx contest this weekend and thought it would be neat to see a
comparison between these 2 transceivers. I have to say it's a toss up.
The selectivity of the old Kenwood is nice and seems a bit easier to
pull the stations out of the qrm with a slight tweak to the if shift.The
7300 sensitivity beats the KW as well as it's adjust-ability of the
filtering. But, The hyper sensitive receive of the 7300 is too much of a
good thing when signals are +20. See for yourself and you be the judge!
